Apple Owns Me

I tried. I really, really tried to hold out and not buy the iPhone. I have failed.

You would have to be either dead or simply have avoided the internet...or tv...or not talked to anyone for the past several months to not be familiar with Apple's iPhone. Initially, I was skeptical about the device, and having been an AT&T customer previously, I was not excited about ever giving them my money again. But I gave in.

I was originally planning on just getting a new iPod Touch for my trip to Dallas, however, I needed a new phone and a new San Diego number anyway. Seemed to be worth the extra $100 to just get one device that did everything.

After reading the endless reviews, watching all of the demos that were 'too good to be true' and receiving the recommendations of friends and colleagues, I decided it was time to drink the kool-aid (as if I wasn't already a huge Apple fan). Sure enough, the device is extremely easy to use. Everything it does, it does very well. Regardless of what anyone says, the interface is indeed revolutionary for a cell phone.

I had no problems activating, linking to my Apple account or syncing with my MacBook Pro. It also works a lot better with Lexus bluetooth than my Treo did.

Now hopefully I just don't have the typical AT&T issues.
